Learning LabsLearning Labs are either 90 minute to 2 hour one-time subjects pertaining to various subjects on training, living with, communicating with or working with your dog. Learning Labs are also 3 week long, 2-hour in length labs focusing on one topic, such as recalls, loose leash walking, tricks training etc. These are fun for the whole family and allow you to pick training skills and topics you are interested in and which you and your dog need to work on. Each 90 minute lab is $10 per person. These are owner learning only. Demos and lab experiences will be conducted. Owners will have hands-on opportunities for learning. Topics might include Back Packing with my Dog; Clicker Training Introduction; The Power of Clicker and Tellington Touch Method of Training; Communicating with my Dog; Why Does My Dog Do That? And much much more. Each 3 week, 2 hour learning lab is $60. These are owners and dogs. These are mini-classes on one specific training theme. (i.e. as stated above Perfecting Your Recalls; Target Training; Loose Leash Walking; Heeling; Tricks Training; Impulse Control and more) Preferred class size is 10 students and dogs, where specified. PreRegistration and PrePayment are required, 1 month prior to class. PreRegister on our registration form/ Watch calendar for upcoming Learning Lab dates and times. Once a year workshops consisting of two to three days on various topics with various speakers. Wed. January 19, 2011, 11:30 to 1230 p.m. LEARNING LAB - Understanding Clicker Training INVESTMENT: $15.00 - length 1 hour, 1130 to 1230. CHECK IN: 1100 to 1120 a.m. BAG LUNCH (BRING A LUNCH for table talk). DOGS can ATTEND - IF they are well-behaved, people and dog friendly. Limit - 4 dogs, so mention this when you register as this will be on a first come, first serve basis. People w/o dogs attendees NOT limited. Wed. February 16, 2011, 11:30a.m to 12:30 p.m. LEARNING LAB - Understanding Tellington Touch - bodywork INVESTMENT: $15 per person to include handouts and an enriched learning environment. BAG LUNCH (BRING A LUNCH for table talk). DOGS can ATTEND - IF they are well-behaved, people and dog friendly. Limit - 4 dogs, so mention this when you register as this will be on a first come, first serve basis. People w/o dogs attendees NOT limited. Sunday, March 6th, 1 day WORKSHOP - 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. LOOSE LEASH WALKING WORKSHOP FEE: $80 - limit 10 dogs and owners. Auditing is encouraged w/o dog, fee $40. Minimum 5 dogs. Wednesday, March 16th, 2011, 1130 to 1230 p.m. LEARNING LAB - A Focus on Targeting INVESTMENT: $15.00 - length 1 hour, 1130 to 1230. CHECK IN: 1100 to 1120 a.m. BAG LUNCH (BRING A LUNCH for table talk). DOGS can ATTEND - IF they are well-behaved, people and dog friendly.
