Reactive Dog

This class is for those completing a series of private sessions allowing their dog to be in an environment where several other dogs will be involved. A dog must have a long history of being five feet away from other dogs and not reacting. There are three levels to this class. Cost is $250 for six weeks. This is a "goal-oriented" class and often owners continue their private sessions and attend this class or continue private sessions afterwards. First level works with proximity and comfort of being outdoors and indoors with other dogs, as well as continuing to develop communication skills of owners and emergency techniques. The Second Level includes the first in the "Tackling Real Life" series and works with trail walking, low level real life situations and how to handle them, mock ups of real life situations, various controlled socialization and familiarization. The Third Level continues this series and focuses on advanced skill levels. Upon completion, owners and their dogs know exactly what their threshold levels are, many times the dogs are simply "cured" or owners go away feeling confident in facing real life situations as they occur. We go into veterinarian visits, emergency situations (i.e. weather, kenneling) and a variety of other situational and skill sets at a more advanced level.

We have learned more from Diane than any other dog trainer I have ever encountered. Her knowledge of canine is deep and well -rounded.
